Each room in the brand new Holiday Inn has a private bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, free satellite TV, and direct dial telephone.

The modem/fax link is situated in reception and an iron and ironing board is available on request. There are 3 rooms available for disabled guests, these each have a wet room and push button automatic door to make access easier. These rooms are first class for wheel chair users.

The Red Lion Hotel has a brand new, really good sized purpose built function room with a dance floor large enough to suit all style of dancing.

This is a private function with our guests enjoying their evening meals in the function room. Once you have chosen where you want to sit that table is yours for the duration of your holiday.

The Red Lion Hotel is where Douglas Bader and many other famous fighter pilots from WWII enjoyed a good meal and a pint or two.

The building has so much history attached to it, and is very comfortable.

Duxford Imperial War Museum is a MUST and is famous all over the world. It is the home of the Duxford Wing. There is so much history at Duxford, too much to include here, we suggest you view their web-site to check out all the facts. Douglas Bader was stationed there.

Wimpole Hall was bequeathed to The National Trust in 1976 and is the largest country House in Cambridgshire, built in 1643.

Saffron Walden is a medieval town. There has been a Market in the town since 1141 and is held on Tuesday's and Saturday's.

Audley End House and Gardens is one of Englands Grandest Stately Homes. The pastoral parklands were designed by 'Capability Brown'.

Our venue is next to Whittlesford Bridge railway station which has direct lines to Cambridge and London Kings Cross. Ideal for a trip to Cambridge City Centre to shop visit museums, universities/colleges or just to take a walk near or boat ride on the river Cam.
